Hey there, future Mrs. !

Planning a wedding? While you’re busy picking out the perfect dress and veil, let’s not forget about the main man – your groom! A little pre-wedding pampering can make a world of difference for him, ensuring he looks and feels his absolute best as he waits for you at the altar.

We are your punta cana makeup specialists!

Pre-Wedding Prep: A Little Goes a Long Way

Skincare is Key: Just like you, your groom’s skin will thank him for a little extra attention. Encourage him to:

  • Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: A good moisturizer will keep his skin from looking dry or flaky, especially in the tropical climate. Start this habit weeks ahead of the big day.

  • Sun Protection: This is non-negotiable in the DR! A daily SPF of 30 or higher will prevent sunburn and keep his skin healthy. This should also start at least a few weeks ahead of time to see how his skin will react, if he doesn't normally have a skin routine.

  • Gentle Exfoliation: Once a week or so, a gentle exfoliation can help remove dead skin cells for a smoother complexion.

Hair & Beard Grooming:

  • Haircut: Schedule his final haircut about a week to ten days before the wedding. This gives him time to get used to it and for any minor "oops" to be fixable.

  • Beard Trim/Shave: If he sports a beard, a professional trim or a clean shave a day or two before the wedding is ideal.

We have you covered for all his needs at our local salon--with our special Mancave suite!

The "Getting Ready" Glam Squad: For Him Too!

Yes, even grooms can benefit from a little help on the big day!

Men's Makeup? Absolutely! This isn't about transforming him into someone else, but rather about enhancing his natural features and ensuring he looks polished in photos. Think of it as a "no-makeup makeup" look for him:

  • Concealer: A touch of concealer can hide any blemishes, dark circles, or redness that might pop up due to pre-wedding jitters.

  • Mattifying Product: A light dusting of translucent powder or a mattifying balm can control shine, especially important in the Dominican heat.

  • Lip Balm: A hydrating lip balm will prevent chapped lips and give a subtle, healthy sheen.

Who Can Help?

  • Your Bridal MUA (My team and I, ofcourse!):

Many professional makeup artists are happy to offer services for the groom as well.

It’s convenient to have everyone ready in the same place! We can offer that at our salon/ Mancave spa, complete with a separate entrance-exit so he doesn't see you before the big moment!

A Barber: A skilled barber can ensure his hair and beard are perfectly styled for the ceremony. We offer this service as well.

Pro-Tip: Have a quick chat with your groom about what he’s comfortable with. The goal is for him to feel confident and natural, not like he’s wearing a mask!

So, encourage your groom to embrace a little pampering.

A well-groomed groom is a happy groom, and that’s exactly what you want on your special day!
